We are committed to cultivating an inclusive, safe and trusting work environment, where everyone feels a sense of belonging and bring their full selves to work.
We have made significant strides since starting our DE&I journey in 2021 and we are putting the full force of the organization behind strengthening our foundation and achieving our goals, which include strengthening our pipeline of top talent with greater inclusion of women in management positions and greater representation of racial and ethnic groups to create a culturally diverse workforce.
As we continue to grow, we aspire to achieve a level of diversity that reflects the communities and organizations we serve and support around the globe. We have a role to play, and we are all in.
We created the new role of Director, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to spearhead our global DE&I strategy.
We built a global DE&I-CSR council and ambassador network of close to 50 people responsible for promoting our diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives across the firm.
We educated employees on unconscious bias through our new series Ignite Your Mind, designed to open our minds and foster a culture of innovation.
With our goal to increase the presence of women in management roles, we more than tripled the number of participants in the A Effect Ambition Challenge, which propels female ambition and fosters greater equality. Over 40 women from across the organization enrolled in this unique international training program in 2021.
We became one of the first 16 signatories of the new CFA Institute Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Code for the Investment Profession in the Unites States and Canada.
In 2021, we celebrated and commemorated five important events and holidays, with an emphasis on awareness and education.
