Jean-Philippe Lemay is Fiera Capital’s Global President and Chief Operating Officer. He leads the firm’s Canadian, U.S. and European divisions and also sits on the internal board of directors of Fiera Capital Private Alternative Investments and Bel Air Investment Advisors. Mr. Lemay also chairs the Fiera Capital’s Global Management and Strategic Acquisition Committees.
He has approximately 20 years of industry experience and has been with the firm since 2010. In addition to leading the Canadian division, his prior experiences at Fiera Capital include positions as Senior Portfolio Manager – liability-driven investments, as well as Chief Investment Officer. Prior experiences include positions as Specialist - Quantitative Research and Risk Management and Index Manager for global mandates at major Canadian investment management firms.
Jean-Philippe graduated from Université Laval with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), majoring in Actuarial Sciences. He later received a Master’s in Financial Mathematics (M.Sc.) from Stanford University, and also became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA). In addition, he acquired the title of Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) in May 2017.
Nicolas Papageorgiou is Chief Investment Officer, Canadian Division. Since 2002, Nicolas has been a Professor of Finance at HEC Montreal. Prior to joining Fiera Capital, he worked as a consultant for a variety of financial institutions, including asset management firms, pension plans, consultancy firms and the Montreal Exchange.
Nicolas holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from the University of Montreal, a MSc in Finance from Imperial College London and a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Reading. He has published articles in leading academic and practitioner journals and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
Michael Quigley is leading the Canadian Institutional Markets team and is responsible for overseeing all business development and client servicing activities for institutional clients.
Michael brings more than 30 years of investment management industry experience. He is a proven institutional leader who has achieved great success with asset management firms of varying sizes in both Canada and the United States.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Sherbrooke and is a holder of the CFA and CAIA designations.
Ted Ecclestone leads Fiera Capital’s Canadian Private Wealth team. He joined Fiera Capital in 2018 following its acquisition of CGOV Asset Management, where he was responsible for managing investment portfolios on behalf of private and institutional clients. Mr. Ecclestone joined CGOV in 2006 and has over 20 years of investment experience.
Mr. Ecclestone began his career in 1995 at CIBC Trust and then joined TAL Private Management Ltd. as a Portfolio Manager. Prior to joining CGOV, he was Vice President with Rockwater Capital Corp. where he was responsible for designing, building and managing the high net worth division.
Mr. Ecclestone earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto. He holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation from the CFA Institute and the CIM (Canadian Investment Manager) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute.
Dominic Grimard is vice president, Finance for the Canadian division of Fiera Capital. In this capacity, he leads the Finance team and is responsible for all of its activities (general accounting, billing, vendor management, payroll, taxation, etc.). He is also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
Dominic has 15 years of experience in the accounting and finance fields. He joined Fiera Capital in 2011. Prior to leading the finance team of Fiera Capital’s Canadian division, he served as Senior Director, Finance and was involved in the firm’s acquisition projects, in cash management and in the preparation of ongoing disclosure documents.
In his previous positions, Dominic was involved in several acquisitions and dispositions, in public and private financings, and in various accounting, financial disclosure, audit, compliance and tax optimization issues. He worked nearly 10 years in one of the big four accounting firms and was responsible for major audit and consulting mandates. In performing his duties, he lived and worked in Paris, France for two years.
Dominic holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a post-graduate diploma in public accounting from HEC Montréal. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA). He also earned a nomination to the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ honour role, which saluted the 50 top scores in the Institute’s entrance examination among 2,600 candidates from across Canada.
As Vice President, Human Resources, Nancy Cloutier is responsible for the HR strategy and programs for the Canadian division of Fiera Capital. As a member of the Management Committee, she plays a key role in driving the growth of the firm by ensuring that Fiera Capital attracts and develops the best talent to meet current and future business needs.
Prior to joining the firm in 2015, with 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources, she held various positions at CitiCards, Pratt & Whitney Canada, Pfizer Canada, and Miranda Technologies.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a major in Psychology and a concentration in Human Resources from McGill University and is a Chartered Human Resources Professional (CHRP) from the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines et en relations industrielles du Québec.
Sebastian Blandizzi is Fiera Capital’s Global Chief Technology and Operations Officer and has more than 20 years of experience in strategic roles related to IT and operations. As a member of the Management Committee, he is responsible for identifying, developing and implementing initiatives that will ensure the evolution of our operations and achievement of our ambitious business objectives. He also oversees global cybersecurity risk management activities.
Before joining Fiera Capital, Mr. Blandizzi founded a consulting firm specializing in technological change and organizational transformation strategies focused on increasing business efficiency and profitability. In addition to providing consulting services, the firm also developed a prescriptive analytics platform leveraging artificial intelligence technology.
Previously, Mr. Blandizzi was CIO, SVP & Head of Global Solutions Delivery for the Investments and Global Group Divisions at Manulife Financial, having direct accountability for global systems and operations of over 300 applications and platforms supported by a distributed organization of over 800 staff across North America, UK and Asia. One of his noteworthy achievements during his time at Manulife was the creation of LoFT (Lab of Forward Thinking), a globally branded network of development laboratories focused on driving innovation and accelerated solution delivery. Sebastian also directed Manulife Financial’s enterprise data and analytics strategy and was responsible for aligning the company’s divisions to a common framework and technological infrastructure.
Mr. Blandizzi started his career at State Street, spending over 13 years in various roles and was Vice President and Head of Global Technology Services prior to joining Manulife in 2010.
