Peter has over 33 years of financial services industry experience in the United States, Canada and South East Asia. Peter has extensive experience with private wealth and institutional clients in the areas of investment management, marketing, sales and client services.
Prior to joining Fiera Capital Inc., Peter founded a US-based registered investment adviser, managing global balanced, equity and fixed income investment portfolios for high net worth clients and corporations in the US and Hong Kong.
Peter’s earlier experience includes working at TAL Investment Counsel as Managing Director of the Hong Kong office and prior to that as Vice President for Institutional Sales and Marketing in Vancouver, British Columbia.
From 1982 to 1992, Peter worked in New York City as a Senior Vice President for Dean Witter Reynolds and Lehman Brothers in Institutional Equity Sales. In 1978, he began his career as an Account Executive with A.E. Ames & Co in Toronto.
In the past Peter has been a guest on CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street”, “Street Signs” and “The Closing Bell”. He has also taught regular investment management courses to senior executives for one of China’s largest banks in Shanghai.
Peter served nine years on the Board of Trustees of a not-for-profit rural New England health care facility, three as President. He graduated with a degree in History and Politics from Trent University, Ontario in 1977.
Roland Sakha is a member of our Strategic Investment Partnerships team and plays an active role in business development and client relationship management with Fiera Capital’s largest strategic partners.
Roland worked for two major financial institutions before joining Fiera Capital giving him over 15 years of experience in financial services. His experience includes leadership positions in the design and management of investment solutions. Roland’s responsibilities included guiding initiatives in product innovation, manager selection and portfolio optimization, and developing exclusive large-scale strategic partnerships. His experience also includes operations management for investment and insurance products.
Roland earned a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from McGill University as well as the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation.
Carolyn N. Dolan
Carolyn is Head of Direct Client Investments and a member of the Management Committee. She also sits on the Fixed Income Investment Committee and Tactical Asset Allocation Committee and directs and manages portfolios for high net worth individuals.
Carolyn was a co-founder and a Managing Principal of Samson Capital Advisors LLC. Samson was a privately-owned investment management firm that was founded in 2004 by senior investment professionals from OFFITBANK, Goldman Sachs, and JPMorgan. Prior to its acquisition by Fiera Capital, Samson managed over $7 billion in assets in customized fixed income for affluent families and their foundations, endowments and corporations. Carolyn was a member of the Management Committee, and the Chairman of the Principals Meeting, She was also a Portfolio Manager and served as a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to Samson, Carolyn was a cofounder of OFFITBANK, which in 2002 after the firm’s merger with Wachovia, was restructured and changed to OFFIT Investment Group. At Wachovia, Carolyn was a Senior Vice President and the Senior Managing Director of OFFIT Investment Group. In this role, she led the firm’s 25 person Tax Sensitive Fixed Income management team; while in this role, the OFFIT three municipal funds achieved and maintained Morningstar 5 star ratings. Prior to OFFITBANK’s purchase by Wachovia, Carolyn was responsible for the firm’s high net-worth investment group and was a member of the Management Committee. She was integrally involved in the management and analysis of taxable and tax-exempt portfolios and managed OFFITBANK’s New York Municipal Bond Fund, which achieved a Morningstar 5 star rating during the five years that Carolyn managed the account. Carolyn was on the firm’s investment strategy committee and portfolio review committee. She represented OFFITBANK as a trustee on various fiduciary accounts and worked extensively with clients on asset allocation and manager selection decisions.
From 1978 to 1983 she was associated with Julius Baer Securities, Oppenheimer Capital Corporation and Equitable Life Assurance as a portfolio manager, investment analyst and quantitative analyst. At Equitable, she was a senior team member in the restructuring of a multi-billion dollar Taft-Hartley Fund.
She currently serves as a Trustee of Fordham University and serves on the Finance/Investment and Audit Committees. She has served on the boards of the Cathedral School of St. John the Divine and Marymount College. Carolyn is presently on the boards of Mutual of America Funds, Inc., and Market Street Trust Company. She is a member of The Economic Club of New York.
Carolyn received an MS Degree from the Columbia School of Social Work in 1977 and an MBA from Columbia University in 1978. Carolyn graduated from Marymount College in 1968 and was a social worker for the state of New Jersey from 1968 to 1975. She is also a CFA charterholder.
Ted Ecclestone leads Fiera Capital’s Canadian Private Wealth team. He joined Fiera Capital in 2018 following its acquisition of CGOV Asset Management, where he was responsible for managing investment portfolios on behalf of private and institutional clients. Mr. Ecclestone joined CGOV in 2006 and has over 20 years of investment experience.
Mr. Ecclestone began his career in 1995 at CIBC Trust and then joined TAL Private Management Ltd. as a Portfolio Manager. Prior to joining CGOV, he was Vice President with Rockwater Capital Corp. where he was responsible for designing, building and managing the high net worth division.
Mr. Ecclestone earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto. He holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation from the CFA Institute and the CIM (Canadian Investment Manager) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute.
Dominic Grimard is vice president, Finance for the Canadian division of Fiera Capital. In this capacity, he leads the Finance team and is responsible for all of its activities (general accounting, billing, vendor management, payroll, taxation, etc.). He is also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
Dominic has 15 years of experience in the accounting and finance fields. He joined Fiera Capital in 2011. Prior to leading the finance team of Fiera Capital’s Canadian division, he served as Senior Director, Finance and was involved in the firm’s acquisition projects, in cash management and in the preparation of ongoing disclosure documents.
In his previous positions, Dominic was involved in several acquisitions and dispositions, in public and private financings, and in various accounting, financial disclosure, audit, compliance and tax optimization issues. He worked nearly 10 years in one of the big four accounting firms and was responsible for major audit and consulting mandates. In performing his duties, he lived and worked in Paris, France for two years.
Dominic holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a post-graduate diploma in public accounting from HEC Montréal. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA). He also earned a nomination to the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ honour role, which saluted the 50 top scores in the Institute’s entrance examination among 2,600 candidates from across Canada.
