Global Chief Human Resources Officer
Flora Sousa is Global Chief Human Resources Officer at Fiera. With extensive experience in asset management and HR strategy, Flora leads the global Total Rewards, HR Operations, HR Business Partner and Talent Management functions across Fiera, including overseeing talent acquisition, employee and leadership development and DE&I. She ensures HR solutions are aligned with and enable the overall business strategy while driving employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Flora draws on her strong background in organizational design, full-cycle M&A, change management and leading transformation initiatives. Prior to joining Fiera Capital in 2021, Flora held various HR executive positions at Invesco Canada, Citigroup Fund Services Inc. and AGF Investments.
In addition to her HR experience in the asset management industry, Flora has a background in accounting and has worked for management and training consulting firms, specializing in product and sales training for the automotive industry.
Flora graduated with honours from George Brown College’s Human Resources Management program and holds the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and Certified Human Resources Executive (CHRE) designations.
As part of her active involvement with the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (HRPA), Flora is a past member of the Board of Directors (Toronto Chapter) and Chair of the Mentorship Committee, as well as a member of the CHRE Designation Review Committee.
