Claude Lockhead Appointed Senior Advisor, Institutional Markets

MONTREAL, October 4, 2022 – Fiera Capital is pleased to announce the appointment of Claude Lockhead as Senior Advisor, Institutional Markets. Claude will be based in Fiera Capital’s Montreal headquarters.

As a key member of the Canadian Institutional Distribution team, Claude will leverage his extensive expertise in working with institutional clients across Canada and lean on his comprehensive technical experience and skills to provide innovative solutions and ideas to help our clients achieve their investment objectives.

With close to 40 years of industry experience, Claude will play an important role in furthering Fiera Capital’s position as a well-recognized solutions provider. His expansive network will be an asset in identifying new opportunities and furthering the firm’s growth within the Canadian institutional marketplace.

Claude has spent his entire career at Aon and predecessor firms, where he gained extensive credibility in the pension industry. In his most recent role as an Executive Partner, Claude was responsible for a portfolio of major clients, primarily in pension fund financing and investment management. During his storied tenure at Aon, he also led their Canadian Retirement and Investment Management practices.

Claude received his Bachelor of Actuarial Science degree from Laval University in 1984. He became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) in 1988. Claude serves on the Quebec Regional Council of the Association of Canadian Pension Management (ACPM) since 2017.
