We acknowledge and respect the unique cultures, traditions and histories of Indigenous Peoples. We recognize the inherent rights of Indigenous Peoples and we commit to conducting ourselves in ways that uphold the dignity and autonomy of these Peoples.
Cultural Sensitivity
and Awareness
We approach interactions with Indigenous communities with cultural sensitivity and humility. We are committed to continuous learning and enhancing our understanding of the diverse cultures, customs and practices of Indigenous Peoples in alignment with our Global Equity and Inclusion Policy and Global Respectful Workplace Policy, as well as the contemporary issues Indigenous communities continue to face today.
To underscore our strong commitment to allyship with Indigenous communities, we conduct annual education sessions on Truth and Reconciliation, equipping employees with essential knowledge and fostering a culture of inclusion and respect.

We commit to supporting the growth and enduring prosperity of Indigenous communities through tailored investment services, strategic recruitment initiatives and financial support to Indigenous students. Honouring Truth and Reconciliation at the CN Tower
Fiera Capital Private Wealth team attends deeply moving event at CN Tower in support of the Orange Shirt Society and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
We are incredibly grateful to have been invited to take part in this important gathering. The stories shared and the traditions honoured left a lasting impression on all of us.
One of the most meaningful moments was receiving the tobacco tie offerings—a gesture rich in cultural and spiritual significance. Participating in this practice allowed us to reflect more deeply on the day and connect respectfully with Indigenous traditions. We were inspired by the dedication and care that went into organizing such a powerful event. The impact was profound, and we are thankful for the opportunity to stand in solidarity and continue learning.
Coast Funds Great Bear Rainforest Celebration Dinner
Git Hayetsk Dance Group at the Coast Funds Great Bear Rainforest Celebration dinner. Fiera Capital sponsored the dinner, providing support for event management, food, and travel stipends for participating First Nation representatives.
The Great Bear Rainforest Economic Summit, held on Oct. 2, 2025, brought First Nation leaders together for a day of reflection and learning, following over 15 years of collective investment in building a conservation economy on the coast. Since signing the Great Bear Rainforest Agreements in 2006 and securing $60 million in economic development funding, First Nations have invested more than $61 million with Coast Funds in sustainable businesses, community infrastructure and other economic initiatives that have created new jobs and helped diversify coastal economies.
