Elena Gorbatkova

Elena Gorbatkova is Portfolio Manager, Canadian Equities at Fiera Capital. She is responsible for research and portfolio construction for Canadian Equity mandates.

Elena has 20 years of investment industry experience across Canadian and global equity strategies. Prior to joining Fiera Capital, she spent five years as a Senior Research Analyst at Jarislowsky Fraser, where she focused on global consumer sector.

Previously, Elena was Assistant Portfolio Manager at CGOV Asset Management and Fiera Capital following Fiera Capital’s acquisition of the former. She later became Vice President and Portfolio Manager and was responsible for global equity and impact investing strategies, including ESG-focused investing and the integration of impact-focused investment frameworks into the investment process. Throughout her career, she has invested across a wide range of industries and geographies, analyzing and evaluating diverse business models.

Earlier in her career, she held Senior Investment Analyst roles at Wealhouse Capital and Mercer Investment Consulting.

Elena holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and she is a CFA Charteholder.
