Howard Leung CPA, CA, CFA

Howard Leung is a Senior Analyst on the Canadian Large Cap Equity team.

Howard joined the firm in March 2022, bringing over eight years of experience in investment research and equity analysis. He began his career in the financial industry in 2010 at Deloitte Canada, where he held various auditing roles, including Senior Staff Accountant. He later spent seven years at Veritas Investment Research, first as an Equity Research Associate and later as an Investment Analyst. During his time at Veritas, Howard earned recognition at the 2019 Refinitiv StarMine Awards, ranking #2 in Stock Picking for Canadian REITs.

Howard holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management (BAFM) and a Master of Accounting (MAcc) from the University of Waterloo. He also obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) designations.

Howard is also a voting member of the Canadian Accounting Standards Board (AcSB), an independent board that has the legal authority to establish accounting standards for all Canadian entities outside the public sector.
