Anik Lanthier is President, Public Markets at Fiera Capital.
In her role, she leads all Public Markets activities globally with a focus on the growth and evolution of our Public Markets investment platform, including our equity, fixed income, liquid alternatives and multi-asset solutions offering.
Ms. Lanthier has more than 20 years of investment management industry experience and joined the firm in 2020. Prior to joining Fiera Capital, she was Senior Vice President and Global Head of Capital Markets at PSP Investments, where she oversaw the internal fixed income, equity and absolute return investment teams, as well as its external manager platform and public markets operations and trading functions.
Previously, she spent seven years at the Hydro-Québec Pension Fund where she held several portfolio management positions of increasing responsibility. She began her career as a financial analyst at the Bank of Canada in 1997.
Ms. Lanthier also serves on the board of directors of Finance Montreal, as well as on the investment committees of the Azrieli Foundation and the McGill University Foundation.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Finance from Université Laval. She has been a CFA charterholder since 2000.
Nicolas Papageorgiou is Global Head of Equity and Liquid Alternatives. Since 2002, Nicolas has been a Professor of Finance at HEC Montreal. Prior to joining Fiera Capital, he worked as a consultant for a variety of financial institutions, including asset management firms, pension plans, consultancy firms and the Montreal Exchange.
Nicolas holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from the University of Montreal, a MSc in Finance from Imperial College London and a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Reading. He has published articles in leading academic and practitioner journals and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
Michael Quigley leads Fiera Capital’s Global Institutional Distribution activities across all investment platforms.
Michael has a deep understanding of the institutional business environment and an extensive knowledge of both traditional and alternative asset classes. He brings more than 30 years of investment management industry experience having achieved great success with asset management firms of varying sizes in Canada, the United States and Europe, and has developed and established a very strong network with pension plans, foundations, endowments and investment consultants. Under his leadership our teams of professionals focus on advancing the evolution of distribution practices while continuing to enhance the depth, value and sophistication of investor interactions.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Sherbrooke and is a holder of the CFA and CAIA designations.
Sebastian Blandizzi is Global Chief Technology and Operations Officer at Fiera Capital and a member of the Global Executive Management Committee. In this role, Sebastian is responsible for overseeing the global operations and technology functions of the firm, including Investment Analytics, Cybersecurity, Data Management, and Client Experience. He leads our Strategic Transformation program, driving regional back office integration and the digital transformation ambitions of the firm.
Sebastian has more than 20 years of experience in strategic roles related to IT and operations. Prior to joining Fiera Capital, Mr. Blandizzi founded a consulting firm specializing in technological change and organizational transformation strategies with a focus on increasing business efficiency and profitability. Previously, Mr. Blandizzi was CIO, SVP & Head of Global Solutions Delivery for the Investments and Corporate Group Divisions at Manulife Financial, having direct accountability for all global systems and services supporting Manulife’s operations across North America, UK and Asia. One of his noteworthy achievements during his time at Manulife was the creation of LoFT (Lab of Forward Thinking), a globally branded network of development labs focused on driving innovation and accelerated solution delivery. Sebastian also directed Manulife Financial’s enterprise data and analytics strategy and was responsible for aligning the company’s divisions to a common framework and technological infrastructure.
Mr. Blandizzi started his career at State Street, spending over 13 years in various roles and was Vice President and Head of Global Technology Services prior to joining Manulife in 2010.
Dominic Grimard is vice president, Finance for the Canadian division of Fiera Capital. In this capacity, he leads the Finance team and is responsible for all of its activities (general accounting, billing, vendor management, payroll, taxation, etc.). He is also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
Dominic has 15 years of experience in the accounting and finance fields. He joined Fiera Capital in 2011. Prior to leading the finance team of Fiera Capital’s Canadian division, he served as Senior Director, Finance and was involved in the firm’s acquisition projects, in cash management and in the preparation of ongoing disclosure documents.
In his previous positions, Dominic was involved in several acquisitions and dispositions, in public and private financings, and in various accounting, financial disclosure, audit, compliance and tax optimization issues. He worked nearly 10 years in one of the big four accounting firms and was responsible for major audit and consulting mandates. In performing his duties, he lived and worked in Paris, France for two years.
Dominic holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a post-graduate diploma in public accounting from HEC Montréal. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA). He also earned a nomination to the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ honour role, which saluted the 50 top scores in the Institute’s entrance examination among 2,600 candidates from across Canada.
