Lucas Pontillo

Lucas Pontillo is Executive Director, Global Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Strategy at Fiera Capital. He leads the firm’s Finance, Corporate Strategy and Technology divisions. In this role, he is responsible for driving initiatives that support execution of the firm’s strategic plan, operational scale and financial performance.

With over 25 years of experience in financial services, Lucas joined Fiera Capital after serving as Chief Operating Officer for Manulife Asset Management Canada. Previously, as CFO of Manulife’s global asset management business—with over $400 billion in AUM—he played a key role in the acquisition and integration of Standard Life Investments Canada and was a member of the Manulife Quebec Executive Leadership Team. While based in Hong Kong, he also served as CFO for Manulife’s asset management and investment operations across Asia.

He began his career at KPMG in the Financial Institutions and Real Estate practice.

Lucas is Vice-Chair of the Board of Governors of Marianopolis College. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the Portfolio Management Association of Canada (PMAC), where he co-chaired the Emerging Trends Committee.

Lucas holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Concordia University, an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Master of Science in Global Finance jointly awarded by NYU Stern and HKUST.
